Making sure I did not get ROBBED...

Alright so my brand new old 01 Maxima which I have owned a week suddenly developed a rattle that I did not notice until 2 days ago.

I took it to my local exhaust shop and he points out three things. A broken hanger thingy, and two pipes meet was also broken. Easy enough he quotes me 60 bucks to reweld the hanger thing and cut out the broken piece and put a new one in. Then he looks at the flex pipe and says that needs replacing and charges me 130 for it. So the whole job was 190... No tax (paid cash).

Does that sound fair... I think it does but wanted to check with ya'll first.

This is the same guy that did the exhaust on my old car the Pathfinder (this was a custom job since they sell no aftermarket). He charged me $500 for that. Here is a link to how that came out if anyone is interested in seeing it

prices sound ok for the repair, depending on where the repairs were i might have jusst gotten a y pipe and had them put it on if that would solve the problems. 500 for the custom one sounds really high though, around here they do it for less.
