Grinding/scraping while making right turns
I'm getting a grinding/scraping sound coming from the front driver's side wheel while making a right turn (when the weight of the car shifts to the driver's side). It goes away while I'm driving in a straight line... I changed the brake pads using Hawk Performance Street pads about 8,000 miles ago. I still have the original rotors on and didn't turn them when I did the pads. I just started noticing it since it's been raining everyday for the past week.
Any ideas?

well it sounds like u had the same problem as me. I found out that the dust sheild is rubbing against the rotor and when u turn it leans on it enough to make that grinding noise.Take off the tire and take a look at ur dust shield i bet its pretty rusty seeing that u are from CT. All u do is stick a flat head screw driver in between the rotor and the sheild and bend it back. the part where mine was rubbing was the bottom of the rotor. Go all the way around bending the shield back. This should fix it. Good luck
