Correct Alternator?
Correct Alternator?
Hi all,
I just purchased a remanufactured alternator from a place that rebuilds starters and alternators. When bringing this home after paying $99 with a $30 core seems that I found out there are 2 different alternators. This alternator has a wire plug that has 2 pins that look like this --. But the ones on the websites say that the alternator wire plug looks like this =. I have a 2001 Max SE. Is this the correct one? I'm not doing this job until saturday. Thanks in advance! Here's a pic of the alternator:

I'm not a 100% sure, but I think you may got an alternator for a 2000 model.

According to this website and how you describe the pin out, the 2001 is " = " and the 2000 " - - "
Can you go back and get an alternator with the correct pins?
