00 Seat Covnersion Questions

I am planning on purchasing leather seats from a 2004 infiniti i30.
They are heated + power

I currently have non power cloth.

Which wiring adapters would I need?

Thanks for your help.

And I'll probably call up Dave B to get em.

Would my car already come pre-wired for power seats? How about heat?

Any help would really be appreciated.
Thanks.

So does anyone know how to hook this up?

Is there two seperate plugs for heat and power or one plug for both?

Thanks again.

i think it is two plugs, all cars are maximas are pre wired. i think ur problem may be that the harness plug on an 04 may be diff than the plug on ur car. first just look under ur seat to see if u got harness connectors there.

then u may need the plugs from the 04 infinity and splice em into ur wires.

I looked under my seat just now and under both the driver and passenger seats I have the wires with two plugs.

Does anyone know if the connector for an 04' i30 is the same as for 2k maxima?

Also what parts would I need to connect the heated seats part?

Plugs should be the same, and for heated seats you'll need the heated switches for the center console. Then plug everything together, done!

Edit: even if the plugs were different, you can just cut the plugs off and splice the wires together no?

The switch wiring should already be there under your center console. Your fastest possibility to a pair of OEM switches is to search for "maxima cener console" on eBay.

switches i can easily get and mod them into my center console.. but the wires that attach to these switches... you are saying they are already inside the console?

They should be yes, as told to e by Fezzik who retrofitted heated seats in his 5th gen.

if you are getting them from dave, just call him. he will be able to tell you everything that you need to buy (and how to hook it up)

EDIT: sorry, just realized that this was an old thread bumped by a newbie (and not bumped for a good reason)

Hookin up power seats have been easy until now. Need a lil help figuring out where to get power for my passenger side seat. I had manual seats then got leather/powered. The driver side had the wires no problem. There were no wires to power my passenger side, i cut the harness plug from the max i took the seats from, all i need is to get power to the cord. This is what i am working with:

That little opening you see is where the wires are suppose to some from:

here is the wiring harness:

Here is where i think some power can be obtained:

Now all i need to know is where to run the wires to get power to that seat. Thanks in advance.
