I was wondering if anybody has trouble with their BOSE system when they turn the bass all the way up and listen to the music pretty loud? My BOSE speaker is blown out and my nissan dealer says its my fault for turning up bass all the way is anybody else having the same problem?

Hmmmm....that might be considered abuse of the product. Just because the car has anti-lock brakes you wouldn't use them everytime you stop...I guess the dealer just doesn't think that you should have the bass turned all the way up at high volume.

But then again, it should be covered under warranty. Take it to another dealership and don't mention that part about turning the bass way up. Then maybe you will have better luck.

Good luck man.

Every little thing i find wrong with my car from now gets a call to Nissan Consumer Affairs, that includes if it smells bad in the morning.
They make the BASS go all the way up, then it should be able to handle it. freaking bootleg clarion/bose system.
AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

I never saw anything in the owners manual to tell you not to turn the volume **** too far in any direction. Actually, mine just turns without doing anything at all, once you get to the top of the volme range it permits, so I have to think it's pre-set with a volume limiter. If turning the **** only as far as it's preset is enough to blow a speaker, the error is in the preset, not the ****-turner, IMHO.
