Towing?

Bring on the flames, but can anyone let me know how you think the Maxima would do towing two jet skis.

i already saw a max towing one , It look like it was doing it with no problem but if you do start towing i do recomend that you get a tranny cooler. Now two jet skis thats another story

Jet ski's are pretty light. I dont think your Max would have any issues with towing. I think its max tow is 1000lbs. Thats going to be (maybe 600lbs very rough estimate) with the trailer. to the tranny cooler idea.

I would rather tow with the 5sp or 6sp gearbox. I wouldent tow with these automatics.. they suck as is.. add 600lbs to the car and I really dont think anything good can come from it.

I haven't had a problem with towing, just keep it arounf 1000lbs and make sure you are changing your tranny fluid on a regular basis. A tranny cooler, as mentioned, would'nt hurt.
