Hey guys...while driving today on the highway, the SLIP, TCS and one more light (can't remember which one)came on. I remember reading that that is the sign of a MAF going bad, but the car is running fine and revving past 2500 without any issues...what can it be?

 

TCS, Slip, SES = Coils (code P1320). Usually when these lights come on the same time, 90% of the time it's a coil issue or misfire. Try to pull any codes from the ECU and see what's in there.

 

no SES...the third light was ABS. So SLIP, TCS, ABS

 

I was reading somewhere it's the alternator. Only issue in Canada is trying to get an appointment with the dealer or any good shop to check this....so just want to make sure it is safe to drive it around without getting stranded in the middle of no where

Seems like I cant go past 4K. I can feel the engine above 4K, but no acceleration and then it slams into gear. If the tranny is going bad, does the SLIP, TCS, ABS light up?
Any help would be appreciated.

 

... my max has been doing the same thing,.. threw a 1320 & a 1324 indicating coil 4.. changed it ..went away.. came back as a 1320... changed the plugs yesterday,.. and car still does exactly what u say around 4K tranny and all,.. i think coils

 

my uncle's I30 had the symptoms. I scanned it and got code p1320

 

its an ignition coil issue, TCS SLIP light on when ignition have defects, the car might run fine one minute and the other minute youl feel that your engine is stallin or shakin like crazy.
