OEM Alternator vs. Optima Yellow Top...guess who wins?

Welp, driving home from work today my alternator died out. I'm Guessing this is because I have had the battery drain down to 0 volts and rechange her to 12V a number of times.

It's all covered under warranty, at least I have that going for me.

Just goes to show how BULLETPROOF those batteries are.

DAMMIT. I was planning on finishing the cluster and taking out the dash tonight.

I'm curious to see if they are going to give me any s'hit about all of the, uhm...'extras'

Lucky your Maxima is still under warranty. I don't think they'll say anything unless they find something else that needs to be fixed.

Haha, probably not. Just to be on the safe side, I am going to remove power to the boards for all of the LEDs...not to mention I should probably get the cluster back in there.

if they do give you ****, replacing the alternator isn't that bad of a job. Let me know if you have to DIY, i've done mine already.
