nice thread upstate...i'm just planning to trade my CF hood with a stock unit...and get it repainted (most likely won't be the same color as mine)

so is it safe to say $300 is a fair price?

I would say more like $200 ish cause $300 sounds kind of high. When I got mine repainted it cost $200 but I was also doing other stuff so maybe thats why?

Wanna trade hoods?

If you only do the hood, it will cost more...

If they do the hood in addition to other work it always cost less since the car is already in the shop and they dont have to pay additional waste fees and such...

$300 for a 3-stage pearl (I think that stearling mist is pearl too) paint sounds about right...

so if vq356sp paid $200 (but got other **** done) then $300 should be a fair deal for me?

I know my car is sterling mist...but it got repainted and looks more like a hybrid of sterling mist and polished titanium...thats why i ask how hard is it...
