someone already started a thread for the latter...

How-to: operate your car's power windows

How-to: Exit vehicle when you've locked yourself inside

someone should start a thread with detailed how-to's for all the car-nubs out there..

I think this would be a cool idea for a sticky.. take it seriously though - make sure it's thorough, has lots of pictures.

how-to:
change wiper blades
jack up your car/change tire
open the hood of your car...
program memory seats

If a person on this board does not know how to do these simple tasks should refrain from driving any motor vehicle.

Forgot about that one. SVC i keep on "mid" ... it's a good excuse to silence the yapping passengers by turning up the volume (through the steering wheel audio control) and the excuse being "it's the SVC in the car, it raises the volume automatically."

I'd think changing the bass and trebel levels in your car would be far easier than changing the wiper blades... besides, the point is to come up with things that lay-people might not know
