window problem

Just over three months ago, I hit a deer. Small one, caught it low on the headlight, and it bounced down the side of the car. Ended up with a new fender and right front door skin (ie. they took off the sheet metal and replaced it)

Since then, I've had this window problem twice. I'll leave the car in the garage overnight, with the windows down. When I go to raise the right front window, it won't go up, until I cycle the switch 3,593 times. Once it finally goes up, it works fine, for a yet to be determined number of cycles (like I said, this has only happened twice and only since the repair)

The first time this happened, I took it to the body shop, and they said that they pulled the panel and checked all the connections. I didn't bother with them the second time. I'm looking through the FSM to see what the problem might be. Any ideas where I should look first?

TIA

last year in march, i guy backed up in me, i had to change the door panel from outside passenger side, since then, my passenger comes up and goes down slower then before. The best thing is to go to a scrap yard or just go on ebay and get your self another actuator (motor for window). Should fix a lot of things

I'd thought about the motor, except that when it IS working (which is most of the time), it works fine, including the speed.

I hate taking it to the dealer, since I can't reproduce the problem. I will look for a motor, though, to see how expensive it is.

Check your switch connections, just might be a loose contact or small debris that's causing havoc. I've had the same problem with the window not working.
