how to adjust my trunk lid

well while driving i was hearing this rattle and it was my trunk lid. is there anyways you can adjust the trunk lid like you can the hood but turning those black rubber stoppers? well just wondering

No adjustments that I know of. Sure it's not your license plate frame rattling?

nope im sure its the trunk lid because i told my brother to drive while i was in the trunk hehe. Well if anyone knows let me know

I got the same problem. The whole damn lid is rattling right on the striker. I am going to try adjusting the striker and if that doesn't work then I'll look at adjusting the bump stops on the bottom of the lid. I think that's about all you can do.

you could tighten the screws that hold the trunk lid.. ill try to grab some pics of it later.. kind of cold in the morning...

the locking mechanism can be raised and lowered with the bolt with it locks to the bumper. It has that black molding on it. I would also suggest taking off the liner and dynomatting it as well as the spare tire well. It may add some wieght to the car but it will reduce road noice and rattles.
