Has anyone replaced their OEM's with the M3 Mirrors, if so how did it come out? Pics please. Also can I get a rating on the M3's.

If your gonna get them, you should get the JDM cefiro folding mirrors, i bought them about 2 months ago, and i love them, i got the heated version, and i hooked them up with my viper alarm, so they roll up with the alarm.

The maxima is a nice car and already has nice mirrors. The after market M3 mirrors look to cheap in my opinon and should be left for the civics

don't know about maxima... but they look nice on the car they are designed for. but be prepared to deal with its size - u will be looking at a really small reflection unless these are bigger then the original vesion.

They are hella small......I had them on my maxima for a week until I realised the 80 blindspots they contain........no matter which way you direct the mirror you lost 4-5" of sight right around the gas filler up spot on the side of the car

They're the style of mirrors from the E36, not the E46.

Thanks fella's you've made my decision for me... I assumed they would be direct replacement and at least the same size. Imma go with the JDM Cefiro's.

Theres only one person that i know that imports Cefiro parts, i got mine from him, search for SYCEFIRO, he has a few posts up for them, as well as pictures, if i remember correctly they were around $500, but there very easy to install, and he also gives you the nissan control switch for them and all the wiring to go with it.

It's your car...do what you want, I could personally care less if I put on European Style, or JDM Knockoff, or american parts on. I generally want my replacement parts to be an upgrade from what i currently have and suit my taste for the overall asthetics. Seems most things are good for my view but I think in this case i'd be concerned about the loss of visibility in my mirrors. Seems it's a downgrade to me, not saying to get bigger mirrors but I'd think about that in your desicion to purchase.

I think the mirrors would look good on the max, color matched, etc. But I'd have to weigh that with the visibility loss.

OEM-styled folding mirrors in CF would be hawt. If you really wanna turnsignal embedded mirror, nothing says Unique like a DIY LED mod.

Funny how people that rag on him, approve of G35 wheels and other types of mods on Maximas. I went to some Beemer forums, and I didn't see anyone asking for Z350 mirrors.

I agree. Do whatever you want if you like it. I am sure there is someone out there who thinks something on my car is gay, but I like it. Just my opinion though, I voted no. Save the money for something better; this may be a difficult mod.

Thanx for the input people, I like the design but the size is too small. Will save money and move onto something else.
