Timing chain rattle?

Timing chain rattle?
Hey Guys,
I have a 2k Max with 120k miles. In the past few days theres been a rattling coming from the bottom of the engine compartment. I can't tell whether it's something that's loose, or possibly the timing chain. The argument for it being something loose is that the sound dissipates somewhat when I turn the wheels, but it's still slightly there. I've never heard a bad timing chain but can imagine the sound would be something similar. Can anyone offer any advice?
Thanks,
Doug

WHEN are you hearing the rattling?
idle? cruise? does it change with engine or vehicle speed? you said it dissipates somewhat when turning, does that mean turning at a stop, or turning while driving? and if so, how fast?
did you try turning your a/c off?
