DO a search, and you'll see that to proceed yo've got to show proof of purchase. These guys aren't trying to be d!cks, it's just that theres been alot of HID theft, and the last thing they want is to be helping out would be crooks. Not calling u one.

If you are mechanically or even electrically inclined to attempt to do this install yourself, you should be able to figure it out. I had to figure it out mysel and I did. It's not hard, just takes time to figure out which wire is which. I will considering selling my directions, or I can sell you an installation harness so you can do a semi plug and play because you do have to cut some wires and reconnect them.

I'm not offering free wires and relays, they would pay for the materials and a little of my time... then we may know they may be serious, and not just finding some free instructions on how to install these since people are so paranoid. If I gave it out freely I get flamed, If I don't and say I'll help, but it won't be free, I get flamed. If they're serious, they consider it.

I helped Lontar1 by giving him directions and he didn't even mention anything about that...

Don't even go there. I have the instructions and can get them to anyone who can prove they purchased the lights. Living in so cal, we dont' see the whole stolen light issue that you folks are faced with back east, but I feel for you and for that reason, Show proof of purchase and the directions are free.

Huhh? The HID's don't leave a gap on the 2k-2k1 bumpers. Mine sit flush and fits likes a glove. It's the crappy halagens that leave a gap on the 2k2-2k3 bumpers (if anybody would happen to go this route).

ERV, why does it bother you that I want it emailed to me? I could care less if the instructions is sent via email, fax, mail, fedex, ups, dhl, carrier pigeon etc, etc. I am just asking for the instructions so I do not have to pay someone $60++ to do something I can probably do myself. Either way it will get done the only difference is if a fellow orger will help me or not.

What is really stupid are the guys who ask for a receipt for proof of purchase. If someone does not have one or you suspect the hids they have are stolen WHAT IS YOUR NEXT STEP? Do you report them to the POLICE? Do you report them to the ORG administrator? Yeah HID instruction Sheriffs, What is your next step?? All I ask for are the instructions and I have a whole lot of responses in this thread that are uncalled for. If you have it and want to send it fine, if not click the "BACK Arrow" and move on to the NEXT thread.

Used relays to power the HID and so when you turn on the high beam, they come on and also so the HID will only come on when the parking lights are on... This way they don't flash. There are more than one way to hook these lights up...

Could somebody post a few pics of 5.5 gen. HIDs on a 5th gen.? Since some people are saying that the headlights are going to be flush to the bumper, and other say that they will be a little gap which is not noticeable. An up close picture of that gap would be highly appreciated, thank you in advance.
