Are those pictures that are being referenced to by this site final?? I am not too crazy about the way the lights, grille, airdam, and nissan logo (sim to altima's logo) look in the front. The lights look to busy, and too much like the frontier's. If this is final, I will definitely stick with my 2k1 max (not upgrade) and bite the bullet on the 40 or so less horses.
What does everyone else think about the looks of the car??

The grill and bottom air intake remind me of the z concept. The lights are evolutionary, but personally, I like mine better with the bronzed treatment. The grille, well, I wasn't crazy about the 00 went it first came out, but it grew on me. Tail lights are somewhat copy cat with so many cars now going to that look. Kind of dissappointed they took the originality away, but I'm glad they stuck with the basic shape.

All in all, I think it is a nice minor makeover. All the extra features are nice, but I'm sure price will reflect them. Maybe it's just me, but I think my 01 looks better.

Larger emblems

Overall, I like the stylistic changes of the 2K2 Maxima.

However, I note that they have increased the size of the front Nissan logo. I've noticed that all Japanese manufacturers have been scaling up their front emblems.

The Lexus LS430 and the IS300 both have huge Lexus emblems. The new 2K1 Acuras have gigantic 'A's on the front. And then Infiniti's 2K2 Q45 and 2K2 I35 both sport Infiniti logos so large that they are tacky. With the 2K2 Maxima, the same trend has affected the Nissan logo: it's overwhelming and really detracts from the front appearance.

I thought the car was going to look terrible. But looking at this picture, I think it looks better than my 2k. In real life, the car usually looks better since you get a 3D view and you can see every buldge, curve, crease, and styling detail better. If it was going for the same price maybe..
