The spoiler that I ordered when I bought my GXE
back in March finally arrived with all of it's
accompanying parts that were mistakenly *not* ordered
at the same time. I had them put it on the other
day. I didn't notice this at first, but the rear
brake light in my back window is still there.
Shouldn't they have taken it out? I have two
rear brake lights now...

Any observations appreciated.

I am going to buy to buy an aftermarket spoiler, probably from autodynamic.com,
Could you please post the "accompanying parts" that are needed to install the spoiler?

I believe you can get a little plastic cover to go over that light.

Unfortunately, I don't know what the exact parts
were... All I know is from the lame excuses I
kept getting from the parts dept. at the dealer.

They quoted me a price of $400 & change, which
includes everything except labor, however, it's up to them
to order all of the parts - it doesn't come in one
package or under a single part number. They
completely missed the fact that they needed to
order the electrical kit so that they could connect
the spoiler light. Then they didn't realize
that the spoilers don't come pre-painted and they
had to send it out to be painted. None of this
changed the final price, but it took them 2 1/2
months to sort it out. To be fair, Nissan was
jerking them around and it took at least a month
for the unpainted spoiler to arrive.

My advice? Call Dave Burnette and order from
him. I'll never order accessories through my
dealer again.

I ordered a spoiler for my max on ebay. All it came with was the gaskets and I think a few screws. I need to get it painted but he shop qouted me 350 to get it painted and installed, Hmmm doesn't soung like a good deal. If anyone with a spoiler, would like to help someone in need be taking a picture of there trunk opened just so I can see where the mounting holes are would be very much appreciated. Take care people.
