Question about 02-03 Maxima CD Changer

the only thing is the reliability issue...I've had to replace this HU twice in the 25k miles I've owned the car...it's not worth it IMO
EDIT: forgot to mention the reason why i replaced it: It's because this HU has something wrong with it (I think it's due to the Speed sensitive volume control) that makes it cut out all the left side speakers. It's an extremely widespread problem and the new ones from the dealer are no different..

So as long as you make sure you get a changer that is from a Maxima, everything should fit. Connectors and all. Again, I've done it in both a Maxima and an I30.
By the way, you said that it is not a direct fit, but you were the one that asked everyone else if it was a direct fit in the first place. Why ask the question if you already knew the answer?
