It's time for that first oil change for my brand new 2k, but I didn't see the filter part # in the manual. Anyone know what it is?

I have one here in the box for a 2k. The part number on the box is listed as: 15208-9E000

Is that the nissan part # or a generic part #? When I go to someplace like autozone or sears, is that what I look for?

I got that at the Nissan dealership and it is the Nissan brand. Not sure they sell Nissan brand in just any automotive store, like an AutoZone or Pep Boys. But, if you are thinking about a Fram filter, or something generic, they typically have lookup manuals right there on the shelf. Did I understand your question?

I'm a big beliver in Mobil 1 products, therefore went with the Mobil 1 Oil & Filter combination for the 1st change on my 2K. Part# M1-110.

Looks like my response didn't go through, but yes, that's what I was asking for. Thanks alot. Never done it before but after hearing all those quickie oil change horror stories I'm going to start.
