Kick starter? Are you riding a dirt bike or something?

Change the starter. And while you're doing it, check the ground straps. If the ground straps get corroded, a low voltage condition exists and destroys your starter. I had the same problem in my 98 I30. Went through 2 starters in 2 years before I put in a grounding kit because the ground wire under the battery tray was destroyed.

Kick starters are used to manually start most dirt bikes and older ATVs. They've been around a while.

When was the last time you had a tune up? Did you check the plugs? Seems that your starter is ok, but its not getting any spark. Are your coils ok? Whats the voltage when the car is sitting there and not running? When the get the car running, whats the voltage on the battery then?
