Sunroof issue on a 2k

I searched the real way and found different problems than what I have wrong. Everyone complains of the sunroof moving slow. Mine wont move at all. Once every 2 or 3 days it work for 5 seconds. It also automatically tilts up, and lately, I think it tilts down by itself too. I plan on unplugging the batt. and resettin the thing, but i want to know if that will truly solve the problem, or is my situation completely diff. meaning a new motor in sight. thanks for any help.
If the info was out there and I missed it, I apologize.

Going to state the obvious.

Just try to reset it by unplugging the battery and see if it works. Easy step and the first thing you should do.
If the situation persist then you know it's something more involved such as the motor or a short...

so, ive tried the whole battery thing, and it worked for like 10 minutes. Pulled the relay, put it back, and nothing changed. Is there anything else anyone can think of before I let the dealership rob me. Thanks
