Possibly a new cause of the P0430
Possibly a new cause of the P0430
About a month ago I installed a homemade O2 simulator on one of my sensors. It worked for about a week or so (long enough to pass an inspection). Then I thought it died because my SES light came back on and it was a P0430 again. At first I thought the simulator died because I installed it on top of the engine by the front ignition coils, the hottest spot on the engine bay. But then the light went off by its self. It went on and off like 2 more times of over a week and then its been off for about another month new. This was sorta baffling to me since the signal wire from the sensor was actually cut, the simulator has to still be working. Could the P0430 error be cause by the heater unit in the sensor working intermittently or failing?
