Looking to purchase new tires by the end of this week.
Price is a major factor so after browsing tirerack:
1. Yokohama Avid V4S
2.Sumitomo HTR+
3.Kuhmo ECSTA ASX
4. Toyo Proxes (are these reasonably priced?)
Now if a few could chime in and tell me the pros and cons of each and say which is their choice, that would be a great help!
BTW, looking for a All-Season Tire

Toyo Proxes4....best all-season tire out there for a reasonable price.
Look in the tire section under the sticky(?) Best All-Season Tires.
The Proxes4 and Michelin Pilots are in a dead heat. The Proxes4, of course, cost about 60% as much as the Michelins. I'm on my 2nd set and they're great.
Not familiar with the A05, but you sure it's not a summer tire?
Make sure NOT to get the Proxes FZ4, by the way.

i dont know if this helps but i drive on mastercraft avenger zhp i know its not on your list but this is the second time i bought them and love them alot they are all season but have a really nice pattern good price too from town fair tire just some food for thought
I have the Yokohama Avid V4S and i love them. They stick very well, they are very well priced and they are ok in the snow. The only problem i see is that they are very soft and you will probobly have to replace them in about 30k to 35k miles, depending on your style of driving. Not familiar with the others.

Second the prox choice!
I am coming from yoko's and agree with Dimashka they wear really fast because they are so soft. I dont drive my max hard all the time and never do burnouts or anything and they still wear fast. I am rolling proxes 4 right now and love them.
I would say the yoko's stick a little better but the trade off isnt worth it in my opinion. I dont think it is feasible for you either since you said price was a factor.
My friend with a 99 maxima just got a house brand tire at pep boys. I believe the name was definity. I drove the car they were some nice all weather tires. They had a nice tread pattern and were too hard. Which is common in house brands and all seasons. They were really cheap too I beleve like 40-50ish per tire. SO that is an opinion there too. Good luck.

I have the Yok Avid V4S and couldn't be happier. The treadlife should be till 60k, I guess I have to wait and see how they hold up....
