Headlights - eBay NOT Projectors

Alright., my lights are really foggy and would like to either clean them up and do the AE mod., or buy these:::

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/00-01...ayphotohosting

Would those headlights be any good? I rather buy than do., but if the output is not going to be the same than I rather just do the AE mod and the sanding thing...

Tempted for the projectors since they look so hot., it's really too bad they SUCK.

well.... try the mod first i mean its basically free and maybe will solve your fogging problem.... if that fails then go ahead and buy the lights should be the same output you have now... good luck

on doing the mod yourself. You'll actually appreciate it more since you did it yourself. Like misiek said, if that doesnt work out for whatever reason. Go ahead and order. I do have one concern when it comes to these ebay lights though. There is no reflector for the corner lense. The lights will probably end up looking dull and ricey *if that makes sence *

how badly damaged are your headlights? Any minute cracks or anything or is it just fog and yellowness? Any close up pix? Sometimes lights are beyond repair.

before i had my 02 lights on, i had done the AE mod and painted the whole thing black, minus the reflector for the headlights. you can see the blinker bulb just fine, and it doesn't look ricey in my opinion

during the day just running lamps

and at night

Looked good. I was worried it would look like my friends JDM headlights on his accord. Then again, we have bigger brighter bulps I believe.

The lights are hot but you could do this yourself and save the money for another project.

I also thought about buying those headlights, but the DIY doesnt look to difficult and Im not going to pay $50 shipping for headlights , thats just crazy. Try the DIY first and if by some chance you screw it up, then I say try Ebay. SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Alright, the guy at the autoparts store said, "use shaving cream to help prevent fogging of your headlights.". Has anyone tried this? He said to rub shaving cream on them and wipe them off. There is a thread already yesterday about this as well. Use MaGuires PlastX to clean up headlights.

I guess that is what I will do., I think the main reason for me doing the mod is because one looks newer than the other.

I spoke to the guy that I bought the car from this morning and he says., that he had to change it cause his wife had a small accident in a parking lot.

This is his e-mail:::
"It was in a small parking lot accident. My wife was going around 10mph and bumped into another car. The bumper was scuffed a little bit so it needed to be repainted. The headlight was not cracked at all but it eed to be replaced because the bracket inside broke and the light was loose. Also, the grill surround cracked so it was replaced."

I figure he has no reason to lie since I have had the car now for 2 months.
