Taking car to the dealer..Question

I am taking my car in to the dealer tomorrow for some things:

Motor mounts (spelling?)
Auto window not working correctly, drivers side
Advanced Timing to 17
Engine rattle upon start-up

I have known the service manager since I got my car new in 2002. He moved from one dealer location to another and has been way cool. He is gonna put me in a rental car so they can take care of these things. All will be cover under my extended warranty. The service manager is such a cool cat. Gonna do the advanced timing even though he should not. I know the mechanic pretty good also since he moved with the service manager from the other location.

I have a Cattamn Y-Pipe and an o2 Sim. I am wondering if they will give me crap because of this, like my warranty is no good now, blah blah blah, etc.

Should I give the service manager a heads up when I drop my car off tomorrow night? Thanks for any opinions or suggestions. Im just a little worried if they will give me crap about the y-pipe.

A Y-Pipe should not void any warranty unless the manager can prove otherwise. The simulator, on the other hand, I'm not entirely too sure.

If they are cool, you should be fine then.

I usually drop off 1-2 dozen donuts for everyone as a precaution. There are never any problems after that

donuts are a good idea any time of the day! Coffees are a good idea too. You're lucky you've been able to get chummy with your local service dept... that's a key asset to have.

You've obviously never had Krispy Kreme at 12 midnight

Bring them a bucket of KFC or bunch of Coronas.... you know the drill. I doubt they'll give you trouble especially if they are helping you out.

I think you should give the guys a headsup about the Y pipe and 02 sim, that way you will get a feel for how they are going to handle it... rather than them calling you and saying "uhhhh......." know what I mean?
I was honest with mine and he hooked me up!
