You'd do well to email DaveB here on .org. He's a great guy and took care of me for my ignition coils. I think the MAF runs about 85 with a new air filter.

I'm unsure if it's REALLY needed, but when you get it, it will tell you that you need the ECU reprogrammed with a specific code. Of course the stealership will want around 100 for the 5 minutes of reprogramming time. My car ran fine, but I went ahead and did the reprogram.

MAF for what year...00-01 $90 , 02-03 $400.......

 

The 00-01 can be fitted to the 02/3 housing..

 

LOL good point to ask the year. I just got done reading an 00-01 post and thougth we were talking about the same year. I do recall the actual functiona part of the MAF being removable, though you may need a star wrench to remove it. Heck I thought about just replacing that when I got the entire unit in, instead of replacing the entire assembly.

 

I know but I didn't know the year of the car....
