intake setups....(pics please!!)

went to autozone 2day and saw avariety of 3 and 4 inch pipes.

currently i hav a popcharger filter on.
just curious....do any of yall hav an homemade intake. jus some **** yall put 2gether...

if someone does, PICS would be appreciated!!!!

not homemade, but this "hybrid" is the best intake out there:
- stock "midpipe" section (the accordian) with Place Racing "downpipe" through the fenderwell

no other intake even comes close for performance (I've tried several of them - GAB, OSCAI, Frankencar, direct-cone filter)...

I was looking at some flexible piping at autozone.
but looked cheap so i didnt get it.

ill probably jus get one from stillen.(do it the proper way)

um....look under your hood. The accordian piece is part of the factory midpipe. It's made of rubber....and it's already on your car, you don't need to buy it...

i see what ur talkin about.
what about that little flat box lookin shiit?
did u remove that or is it still in place? < does it really make a diff if that is removed? does it restrict any kind of air flow?

1. look in the photo I posted above and you can see what I took out and what I left in.
2. why would you remove it unless you had a real midpipe to replace it with?
