I think he posted in an earlier post and he said they were overwatted. They are not stock wattage, so the wiring harness and housing may be at risk....But perhaps, he can let us know for sure

is there a specific wattage for the corner lamps, side markers like the h4 or h3's? or does it not matter for those? <-- meaning the wires will not burn out for the corners, sides, etc..

I think there is, but I don't know off-hand. You should generally stick to the stock wattage to make sure you don't melt anything....Check the bulb list that is in the faq to make sure....

Wow...a post all to myself.
  • Anyways, the box that I got for the actual lights didn't have any name on it but only said 90/100. People told me that it might fry something, but nothing so far.
  • Here is the link to where I bought it. I told the guy that I needed H4 bulbs and this is what he send to me.
    The Lights
  • I'll post the picture of the box for the corner lights tomorow. It is all in Japanese but I'll post the pic tomorow.
  • The foglights are some kind of PIAA. I think its PIAA extreme but I am not sure.

Sorry guys that I couldn't be any more help but this is all that I now.

i have those bulbs! i took them out because they were 100/80w bulbs, and there was a thread that said it will melt my wirring. i used them for about 10 minutes and decided to put in my old stock bulbs, and let me tell you everything around the light/housing was HOT, there is this white crap on the rubber thing that was there when i got the car, after the lights were used, the crap was like melted n stuff. those are by eaglite, i have there fog lights 55w, and will either go with eaglite 60/55 or PIAA. the eaglite on ebay will only cost 20 bucks, and PIAA will go for 70. so im still deciding, i dont know how long either bulb will last/burn out faster... anyone have suggestions? i do however love ur corner lights, they match perfectly

about the H4 bulbs. I had a pair before this which also said the same thing on them and they were like $70. But one of them went out, so i had to replaced them with these. Nothing so far got fryed and it seems ok . HOwever, one of my lightes, has a crack on them, I think it might be from a rock on the road but it could be from the heat. I had an earler post on this but I havent' gotten it fix yet. So I guess you would take a risk but so far so good for me.

it couldn't be a rock, a rock would have to fly THROUGH the glass leaving no marks, then hitting your bulbs and the rock dissappearing after the attack did you touch the bulb head when you installed it? i have no use for my bulbs anymore and i only used them for about 1-2 weeks. 100/80w i think they were, so who ever wants them, i can pack them like they have never been used BUT i still want to know what kind of corner lights you are using (i may upgrade from polarg m-14 to m-12.. higher wattage)

that would make more sense.. dont they make a clear film you can "tint" on your headlights so no rocks will damage them?
