00 and 01 full gasket set different????

I called a parts store to buy a full gasket set for my de-k. I forgot what year it was and they said 00 and 01 are different part numbers for the gasket sets. Are they really 2 different sets? whats different?

What name brand should I be looking at getting for quality?

Where is the best place to buy for the best quality and price?

What price range am I looking at?

I don't know about foreign cars, but if the head bolts require replacement about 100-175 for a good set. If not 60-130 ISH. OEM or Felpro are good gaskets. Call your local machine shop and see what they use. I always try to find a set that has polyurathane (spelling) rubber instead of cork in certain places.

F.Y.I....Most cars require that you put in new head bolts after removing the heads from the block. I THINK the reasoning is because threads stretch and won't torque correctly the second time. (A potential for a head gasket leak in the future, especially on high compression motors.) Every manufacturer line at our work requires new head bolts, even if the engine ran for 5 minutes. You may want to check with Nissan, but if you're tearing your motor all the way down no point in not spending the extra $50 for head bolts, IMO.
