How do we reset our ECU??
My "Service Engine Soon" light is on again and this time I want to read the code from the ECU and reset it as well. From this link http://vbxmaxima.8m.com/ecu.html
it shows you how to do it step by step. It seems fairly easy. Note that these instructions are for the 4th Gen. I checked out my car and it doesn't have the **** which your supposed to use a flathead screwdriver to turn!?! Anyone know how to do this for 5th Gen's? And yes, I have tried the Search option but it comes back with "no matches found"
PLS HELP!

That's what I did. It works
As far as I know or have heard of, that is the way to do it.

The only way to reset the ECU on the 5th gen without using a consult or similar device is to unplug the battery for a few hours. Does anyone know of any other way?

I tried disconnecting the battery, and now a week later the light is back
I'm gonna try it again and this time remove the OSCAI as well. It's my only mod and I just wanna see what happens.
