Disconnecting Battery

I need to disconnect my battery and just had a quick question.
In acura tl's with bose the system locks itself down when the battery is disconnected and a code is needed to make it useable again.
I just wnated to make sure that this wont happen with my 2k with bose. I figured i would have heard about it by now if it did but just dont want any suprises when i reconnect the battery
thanks

that is honda/acura specific.. will not do to your vehicle
they do that so their headunits don't get stolen

The bose system in our maximas will NOT lock up like the head units in the Hondas and Acuras. When I had my accord I use to hate having to dig up that card with the code to unlock the stereo. It's good deterrent though.
