ECU Question

How do I remove the govern on the ECU if it can be done? I did some research on here but came up with nothing. Anyone know. OH YEAH, one more question.... Off topic. How many quarts of oil are needed if I wanna do a oil change on my '02 Maxima. Thanks for your help.

This thread will be locked. No one will tell you how and if you can remove the limiter on your ECU(safety reasons). Visit TechnoSquare, thats all I can say. and about 4.5-5 qrts of oil with filter change.

you have no reason to remove the governor...its their for a reason and its about 60mph over what you will ever need to go.

you need 4.25qts to fill up the maxima...i recommend Castrol GTX 5w-30...or German Castrol Synthetic 0w-30 (if you feel like giving your car a treat)...both are great oils...the German Castrol will allow you to run a longer oil change interval...and will protect better than the GTX...however, the GTX is much cheaper...50% cheaper to be exact

and our speed governor is about 150mph...do you plan to go faster than that?
