Painted dash

The black piece is painted automotive jet black. There are chrome rings in there. And the outer bezel is color matched to my car.

The clock cover is also color matched.

Air vent, trim around ac, and shifter trim are all color matched. I also had my dash kit for my tv painted.

I was actually thinking about doing the exact same thing after I saw it in the 4th gen forums! It looks really good, and you did all the pieces that I would do...it's not overkill IMO.

Did you do it yourself, or take it to a shop? I'm guessing if you used ppg, it had to be somewhat professionally done. If you did take it to a shop, how much? Thanks. It looks very clean.

that looks good. I had mine clearcoated which makes it look real nice, but it makes driving on sunday's kinda hard sometimes. glare is really bright. and what is ppg?

I think you should finish painting your climate control. I painted the whole thing minus the buttons and clear plastic (no red and blue). And I have metra mounting kit that is painted same color along w/ vents etc.

and hey, how did you take off your side vents? I was thinking about painting them but I don't know how to take them off. I was gonna pry it off, but it seemed like it wasn't going to budge.
