MAF cleaning update...
Well guys, if some of you know, i went out and purchased a MAF cleaner from pepboys a few weeks ago. It is actually the "Electronic parts cleaner" but heard it was probably a rebadged "Maf Cleaner" by CRC. My seemed like it was already slowly dieing. Ive been having idling problems in the last few couple months.
Anyway, the other day i was driving to school and while accelerating the car started to sputter. "Oh god, not again" i thought. I had already replaced the MAF late last year. CEL flashed 3 times and went away.
So becareful if you decide to use this product. I dont think it works really. I also wipped the maf screen with a moist paper toil to get rid of some dirt. I think ive read some where that someone else who has used this product actually had thier MAF die on them as well.
Welp, be good everyone, jus felt like sharing.

thanks for the heads up, i dunt think checking the code will work as of right now. There is no CEL, it went away. But i will try the coil testing from another thread that i found.
Edit: I have a quick question!... When putting the coils back in i was told to put di-electric grease on the end of the boots. I put it IN the bottom of the boots, or was i supposed to put it at the tip of the boot?
