Is It Def. MAF???

Hi guys,

My buddy has an 00 MAX SE auto and the last couple of days his engine shakes a lot on start ups and at stops. But after it warms up it doesnt do it. But if you were to turn the car off and right back on, it would start doing it again.

I did a lot of searching before putting this post and am pretty sure its the MAF, but I figured I might post and make sure before spending the 85-100 bucks on it.

Thanks in advance guys.

Car has about 80-90k. TB cleaned over the summer about 7k or so ago. Time to clean again?

How can coils be checked?

lol. heres a link in case you missed the new thread

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=498732.

sounds like the coils. mine started idling rough and driving rough sporadically. It wouldn't do it at any particular time. but It would eventually go back to normal and I would stop being pissed off. but of course it came back. anyway, its probably the coil.
