Too lean?
My 03 Max is running too lean rigt now. I was wondering what are the possible effects of this. When it was dyno'ed last week I was running at 15.9. Everything seems to be OK, but now that I know it is so far off the norm, I am concerned. I do have various exhaust modifications (short ram intake, Y, FastCat, B, rear section)

maybe the cat is making your dyno read lean...but in reality, if you were running that lean...you should be detonating, and losing hp...and you should feel misfires hesitation while driving on the streets

15.9 was the A/F ratio. I don't know how it was read, but they didn't hook anything up to the rear of the car. They clipped a couple things to the engine bay and threw some device in the cockpit. I didn't drive during the Dyno runs. I can't post the dyno sheets, but it was pretty flat staying between 14.5 and 16 on the A/F.
I don't hear any knocking or detonating and it runs great.

anyway, if your car runs great, then you shouldn't be running 15.9...my wideband has read 16AFR before and I was detonating....and that was just normal driving...at WOT, i'm sure i'd detonate easily at 14+....
