Clutch Stop

I have reviewed all the threads on shortening the clutch depth and there was no conclusion as to the safty of adjusting the different bolts behind the clutch. Many encountered issues where the clutch remained partially engaged while in gear.

I know with the BMW enthusiasts there are after-market clutch-stops to shorten the clutch length that are bolted to the pedal.

I am wondering if something like this is possible for the Maxima, and if so why haven't the after-market companies produced them?
