5th gen fog lights
are 5th gen fog lights the same as 5.5 gen fog light?

5th gens are plastic. 5.5 gens are glass and slightly larger iirc.

No... And you don't want 5.5 Gen fogs in a 5th gen anyway... The 5.5 gen ones crack all the time.
