Oh, if you can indeed get me a pair cheaper than $160-170ish, I will buy it from you any method you wish.

the cutoff is nice, wish i had that on my max, since our HIDs are crap. it looks good except it does look like the projectors are popping out.

What do you need to convert the 2000 headlights to the 2001-02 headlights?

^ Basically, the 02/03 headlights and the diagram to make the wiring harness, as you go from a dual-filament bulb for each headlight to separate low/high beams on the HID's (HID low, halogen high).

01 are the same as 00.

Good job on retro. I am with everyone else though maybe a flusher mount but hey with that output and cutoff I think I could live with it.

Also on the q headlights I have heard output isnt that great on them. However I will say that they are really unique and amazing looking. I am a fan of the M style projector and bezel. The other night I was riding behind a new lx430. I dont know what projectors lexus is using, but the beam width looked like it rivaled s2000 (stanley) level.

damn that cutoff/output is hot. goggle eye or not they still are projects and are x10 better than or stock hids, so i would take those headlights in a heart beat if offered.

Would the company that made your lights be able to make the projector sit more flush in the headlight housing? If so, I'm gonna have to get this done. Pics look damn good. :

ya they wanted to make it sit flush for me at first...but i wanted to be able to use the cap in the back of the headlights to close the headlights so the bulbs and stuff don't be exposed to dust and stuff. they can make it sit flush but not sure if you'll be able to use that cap in the back tho. i'm more concern about output than looks to be honest with you. normally if i wanted it to look nicer i would have gotten an oem shroud for the projectors which will look nicer i think. but i was low in cash so a custom shroud would do lol they do look nicer in person tho...since the color of the shroud matches the housing color it's not too noticeable that it sticks out hah

They look nice overall. I did a retro on an 00 Max but I used the MDX projectors and the ebay projector housings. I used the same kind of projectors on my 200SX.

Out put is nice but like others, I ain't feeling the bezel. I don't blame you for not splurging on the oem bezels because most of those people on ebay and hidplanet are charging them for almost the same price as projectors! Hopeflly when I find clear lenses, I will be able to smoke your TSX projectors

I didn't want to take away from his initial thread not knowing if it was going to be an issue so I didn't mention pics. If it's cool with him, I'll take pics of the headlights on the car during the day and night. There's a member on this forum who did the same thing and he posted the pics on the cardomain website.

Here's a link from hidplanet of what I was talking about.

Blackbird, are those the 04-05 with clear lens? comes with bulb holder? If yes, don't bother with eBay, I'll buy it.
