What I want to do is have the fog lights come on when i disarm my lights. I was thinking of wiring up a relay from the housing in my dome light to the fogs, since when you unlock your car the dome lights come on when you have the switch in that option. But i was wondering if there was another way to go around this and jus stay strickly under the hood. I want the same effect of the american cars have like the pontiac grand am. You click disarm, dome lights and fog lights come on. please wise ones share your awesome knowledge.

This may require alot of re-wiring and appropriate relays in order for this to work since the fogs are in-line with the lighting circuit. Plus, adding the fogs to the dome line circuit will require a high amp relay. You may get better responses in the audio forum if you post this thread there. There's alot of electronic gurus in there that may help you out. Good luck!

LIke i posted in your other thread.... DO THE FOG LIGHT RE-WIRE.
when your alarm arms and disarms your parking light flashes right? (aftermarket alarm). Well the fog light re-wire hooks up your fog lights to your parking lights so whenever your parking lights are ON your fog lights willl be able to turn on.

I already replied to this, I don't want my fogs to blink, i want them to stay on when i disarm my car, Like american cars, some Mercedes do this as well. Its kinda to help you know where your car is and light the way to the car. Not jus blink

i rather hook up my fog to my AC so that i don't have to turn my parking light on, I would hate my fogs to blink if i disarm my car thats is kinda whack imo

I have an '01 Max that flashes it fogs when I lock & unlock. My car is equiped with an aftermarket alarm and I just installed stock 00-01 fog lights. I did Housecor How To's on rewiring the fogs.

I'm probably going to go with the relay setup getting the trigger from the dome light, It should work hopefully the worst that will happen is it will blow a fuse. I'll post it once i have the time to actually do the project.
