How do you get the lens to seal back once you put it back on the housing? I looked at mine and it appears to be sealed with a putty-like substance, so how would you take it apart without destroying the seal?

you need to bake them in the oven and then the adhesive becomes soft and you can seperate it.As far as paint goes it depends if you want it gloss or flat duplicolor high temp engine paint works good when painting

I went with a flat black paint. Got it from Autozone. Anything that says it adheres to plastic will be fine. I also used an adhesion promoter which could be found at any auto parts store.

There's a how-to posted in the how-too stickies. It's under "clearing turn signals on 02 HIDs" or something like that. It goes into how to open the housings and take tham apart.
