The tranny is acting a little wierd. Comming from the office, stop at a red light, light change to green.. move forward and the tranny stayed in 1st for a long time w/o shifting.. it did it like three times and now it is fine. Oil is ok with less than 30K on it. What could this be?

 

Sounds like your TCM is solenoids are going out. Check the TSB thread at the top. There is a TSB for this.
