Gentleman, your opinion is needed....

OK, here's the deal. I'm throwing codes, apparently I am now in the "my O2sensors have died club" . I have the Place Racing cold air intake, and am wondering if I should take it off and put the stock intake back on, so the stealership can't ***** about "aftermarket equipment caused all your sensors to self destruct". I have 76,000 miles, so I'm not even sure if the sensors are covered (I know, I should have looked it up via search, but I didn't, sorry) under warranty, if they aren't, then obviously this question should self destruct (and I'll leave the PR intake on)!! Thanks for any and all help you can give me on this subject.

If indeed your O2 sensor is still under warranty and you decide to take it to the stealership, I think it probably would be a good idea to swap out the intake with the stock air box. Swapping out the intake is really quick and easy and may save you a lot of grief if they try to pawn it off on you.

If it were headers we were talking about, that would be a different story since that would require quite a bit more time.

I guess it depends on your relationship with the dealer. It might be worth a phone call first....

Thanks guys! As always, I appreciate your input and info. I'll put the stock air intake back on, and take it in.
