angel eyes -ebay leds and ebay ccfls updateing
so ive been reading threads on this topic for a couple of days now and basically have learned that the ebay leds while maybe not as bright, may last longer. most posts seemed to be quite old however, so i was wondering , for those that have installed them, are they still holding up? Also has the glue held up?
For those that went with the ebay ccfls, have they held up? or are they as unreliable as i ve read the utizmas may be?
Once i open my hids, i never want to do it again, so im kind of leaning towards the leds but then again , based on pics ive seen the ccfls may look a little more stock or professional in my opinion.
i have never seen either in person, so its very difficult to choose. i also have 6k headlights w the 6k hid fog kit and the polarg and clears all around. As you can tell im really into lighting so any help you guys can provide will be greatly appreciated.

I was once sold on CCFLs because of it's consistant illumination throughout the whole ring but if it burns out then you have to replace the entire ring. $$$ I figure LEDs are cheap and you can replace them when they burn out or upgrade to a brighter 21000+ mcd LED. On the flip side they don't look as good as CCFLs but that's the trade off.

yeah i see where you are coming from. i used to rock the piaa plasma fogs with my stock hids. i absolutely loved the color, very stock, yet more expensive looking which is what i love. i know some may disagree but i think they looked better than my hid fog kit, they seem too "hooked up" or blue but the constant blowing and maintenence of pias made me opt for the expensive hid kit. But then of course the hid fogs over powered the heads so i had to change them to the 6k as well. sure much more $$ but less maintenece is priceless
p.s. what is 21000+ mcd LED? And can you get them from ebay?
