Squeak from front end...

Alright, I'll try to make this short:

Squeak from front end whenever door is closed, or hit a bump.
Recent discovery, testing with door: If hood is open or just resting on latch, will not squeak. Any ideas? We found this out at night, so didn't get a chance to take a look at the latch, but are there any known problems or has anyone else had a similar noise? Tnanks in advance.

Yes, i had this SAME exact problem.
It is the rubber stops on the hood. Two black rubber stops above the headlights.
Yo should go to the dealer and buy brand new ones or remove them and soak them in lithium/silicone grease/lubricant. This will fix the problem.

Holy crap! You were right! I only found one, and I believe it was the one I added for the hood vibration TSB. It was kinda frozen/stiff, and I just moved it around a bit... no noise! I'll hose it down with lithium grease next. Thanks a million, I was scared it was like a strut bearing or something loose.
