If you're cheap, or broke (like me), then you don't want to spend the $25-$30 to goto nissan and pick up a new circuit board to fix this issue...I could have soldered mine, yes, but I actually had a problem where mine was rusted through...So I went to the junkyard and found a 4th gen Max, with manual climate control of course, check under the dash by the blower motor, and voila, the SAME circuit board is in this 4th gen. My 1-3 controls now work like a charm...Money spent? $5. If this has already been posted, my apologies.
