Ditto for me... the original videos are not working... says they've expired or have been removed... Can you post a different link to them so we can see how it's done? I'm about to do mine again after not doing it for awhile and I want to make sure that I'm doing it right...

Thanks!

Car with ~65K miles. What do you guys say, give it a try?

And what are the side effects? I don't want to have have to replace parts.

I hope to be posting a thread tomaro night on how the car feels after I seafoam, oilchange, install Warpspeed y-pipe and test pipe, bleed the brakes (did it wrong last time and now I have the how to thanks to housecor) and cut my rotors (I'll try to post pics of everything).

Did the Sea Foam treatement 2 days ago. I'm not sure if I feel that the car is running smoother or feels faster, i'll give it a few days and deside if it's in my head or it really did something.

it is the pipe pointing up next to the fluid reservoir connected to a black hose going to the intake manifold against the firewall, cant miss it. to detach it just use some pliers and open up the clamp and slide it back on the hose so i doesnt apply pressure on the brake booster end pipe and then pull it back.

so i did the seafoam through the intake, after running a full tank of gas with one bottle of seafoam in it, obviously got the white smoke and now two days later my car sounds louder, like if the exhaust was broken, the sound seem to be coming out of the middle/back of the car, did i mess it up by doing the seafoam?? i dont think so, i mean, i dont see how that would be related; its just that it happened just after the seafoam treatment, was i supposed to just rev the engine to 3k rpm? all i read before i did this was to rev the engine so the seafoam goes through the system. i revved the engine little by little up to redline and back down several times (not always to redline, but close) for about 10 mins or so until the white smoke stopped coming out then i drove normally around town and came back home. i have to replace spark plugs today so i wont comment on power gains/looses (although the gas mileage went dead down to 24mpg from the 28mpg before the seafoam) but the exhaust tone is concerning, sounds like broken, ill go under the car tonight and look for any damage.

::update:: the muffler pipe was so rusted that it broke by the flange and that was the noise so i replaced the muffler and the car is quiet again, just how i like it! and also changed the spark plugs and seems be running fine. just for info, i removed the plugs to take a look at them before i even knew that seafoam existed, and then did the seafoam and (gas tank and intake) and when i changed them, i was able to see what seafoam does, pretty good, the plugs look much cleaner for what they were, not perfect, but better! +1 for seafoam

Seafoamed my car this weekend through brake booster line but i was surprised that there was no white smoke in the first attempt then i added more and waited 5 min and finally get to see some smoke but not whole lot like i have seen in some of youtube videos.
There was no check engine light while doing the whole process but now my car feels little louder and i feel vibration while idling in gear. car does feel more responsive and gas mileage got improved too but only thing that bothers me is vibration in steering wheel while idling in gear. Did i mess something in drivetrain? or will it get better after sometime?

Mind posting your new numbers for MPG?, I've been getting around 20mpg for a while in city. In past, i've had flange removed and welded muffler to resonator pipe to fix a hole, now welded pipe in between again have a hole so I patched it using some kit from autozone but not sure whether that's the culprit. Seems like whole is sealed quite well as in no smoke from hole except noise which is only heard inside of car and not outside. pissing me off.

so you're saying that you remove the flange that joins mid pipe to muffler and welded it? anyhow, i dont think it would affect your mpg, it'll just add noise and maybe vibration, your problem would be in the engine, try the seafoam. i gotta add that i also cleaned the IM with a full can of carb cleaner sprayed from the throttle body side and the cams side, the fluid was coming out really dirty. i will post my mpgs later, i wanna run more local driving mpgs to be more accurate, right now it only has one run of hwy which was over 31 mpg

yes, a muffler guy actually removed flange and connected muffler with mid pipe by welding another pipe about 3 years ago. In looks exactly same dimensions but you can tell there was something welded there. Now, that same welded region has a crack/hole in it, which I covered with muffler bandage kit from autozone. It seems to have stopped smoke coming from that region but noise is there. I rather fix the noise if my gas mileage is not affected, if they are then i'd rather replace midpipe and muffler combo. your mpg findings may help understand how much low backpressure affects my mileage.

That's the exact same plug before/after Seafoam?

I have to say, pretty amazing photos.

FWIW on this topic... it's a whole lot easier to use the VIAS vacuum lead to suck up Seafoam while sitting in the driver seat feathering the gas pedal. You just need 6 feet of little hose, and you're in business.

The brake booster line is a PITA compared to this approach.

I use the brake booster line and a baseball bat to reach the gas pedal.

Thanks Rochester!!! as far as the EXACT one? not sure, odds are one in three lol! when i took the "Before" pix i removed the plugs in bank 2 and they all looked the same; then when i took the "After" pix i made sure i had bank 1 and bank 2 seaparated so this picture is still from a plug from bank 2, the point is, and dont hate me for this, in the old days i used to sand off the build up from the plugs to clean the electrodes and re-gap the plug, i read that these plugs you dont re-gap so i didnt, however after the "Before" pic i sanded off the build up (which did not come off very well) and put it back on, after a few days i seafoamed and drove for about a week until i got the plugs changed and that is when i took the "After" pic and i was amazed at the difference the seafoam made (i still had the missfire, but the plugs were shot anyway), so much that im planning on doing that to my MSM which is at 50k, it would not hurt, i already did the tank treatment and oil crank case on it, i just have to do the IM treatment. but all in all, seafoam is good stuff!
