Am I going to need a Fog Kit????

I got several recommendations from people around the area about PIAA's H3 Super Plasma GT-X bulbs (Fog Lights) http://www.piaa.com/Bulbs/Bulbs-H3.html, saying that they would match my factory HID Xenon headlamps pretty well. My question to you guys is whether or not i will have to upgrade any electrical to properly support this bulb, being that it is 5000K. The reason why im asking is because i have read, several times on threads, that people are tryin to upgrade to 5000 or 4000K setups.

Thanks in advance peeps.

if its just a regular light bulb upgrade then you can put it in the stock plugs if your going to do HID then you'll have to mount ballasts and use the kits wire harness

yes
thats how the stock H3 bulbs look
they just pop in on the fog light housing and then the wire with the connector plugs into the stock wire harness

Super Plasmas are just halogen bulbs. They will go into your h3 sockets without any modification necessary. However, you will hear mixed reviews about the life of your housing from now on, because halogen bulbs do generate more heat than HIDs. 02-03 people have GLASS fog housing lenses, therefore more prone to cracking than plastic. I personally had stock HIDs, and added the Super Plasmas for my fogs. Matched somewhat decently, but then I upgraded my headlights to 6000k. After that, I noticed my fog lense was cracked on one side, so I replaced the housing and got a miniH3 HID kit made by Helios (Check maximabest's thread in the group buy section) For the long term cost and look, you can't beat the HIDs.

yea maximabest would be the best place to get REAL HID's...me personally id say just stick with the stock fog bulbs for now until your ready to kick out the cash for the H3 HID's (with those you get the ballasts, ignitors. bulbs and wiring) WELL WORTH IT
