so i did my brembo/hawks(fronts only) yesterday and took hte time to mask and paint everything since i was there and everything went fine till i got the reinstalling the pass side caliper...the upper slide pin was frozen...

so i took a flat head screw driver and hammer and got it out and it was coreded to hell and back, i sanded it all down and it is pitted to hell, i cleaned the boot and hole for the slide out and regreased the **** out of it but i need to replace it...it works fine but i'm not taking a chance.

so where is the best place to get new pins/slides at a decent price?

ASAIK, the pins are only available with the caliper. I had the same problem a while back and couldn't find them alone. So I cleaned them up, greased them with hi-temp, and stuck them back in. Still going.

Lol i got the rear caliper rebuild kit cause I wanted the bushings for real caliper. http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php has them for 7$ with the boots. Eh. Pwned.
