IACV Relearn - Another great dealer experience!!

I praised this dealer once before a couple months back for great customer service. Gotta give them props once again.

I removed my custom mid-pipe and cleaned my TB out this past weekend and got the unfortunate P0507 CEL. I attempted every relearn process and reset option I could and none of them could get the ECM to read the proper air intake values. Idle RPM was still above tolerance levels. My RPM's would go no lower than 1000RPM at idle and would jump around 2000-2500 randomly.

Spoke w/dealer yesterday about it and he stated it was a full hour charge. After listening to me about how odd it is that a person can not even clean their TB out w/o paying $100 reset fee, he offered me a 15% discount coupon. I was ok with that. Every little bit helps. So, I set appt for this morning.

Get in there 7:45am ==> tech hooks up consult and can not get relearn procedure to take. I asked them if they were using the TSB 05067 for the procedure. The head tech did not know and went to check. Came back 15 mins later, stated that the temp was too high and they had to set two large bay fans in front of car to cool down to proper temp. Consult took and relearn was a success.

Head tech came out and said my car was ready, asked if I wanted the complimentary wash (declined because I had a 9am meeting) then proceeded to let me know he only charged $68 for the reset because he felt bad that I even had to have it done in the first place. I gave my gratitude, paid the bill, and left the dealer at 8:30am.

Only 45 mins total, 40% off discount and I am completely satisfied. GREAT to have stable idle once again and smooth acceleration.
